i just had the surgery l5 s1 l3 l4 fusion on may the 6th..was kinda painful the same day of the surgery was walking pretty good the next day..and was only in the hospital for 2 days..now at homw not in a whole lot of pain..little swelling but im not on any meds at all see the doc on the 19th..but as for pain from what i have been through its not really that bad...ppl say age has alot to do with it im 30 so good luck and ill keep u posted..
