MEDIATION
Hi to all of you!
Today I have received a letter from my attorney to advise me that my case has been scheduled for mediation and my attendance is required. So far I understand that mediation is a process where cases are submitted to a State Mediator who is neutral and will attempt to put a dollar value on my case for settlement purposes. If anyone knows how this process works and what to expect, I would really appreciate it and any help is welcome. I am from Michigan.

Thanks,

RE: MEDIATION
In TN they have mediatation also. Mine was at the Labor Board. It was the referee,my Atty., and there Atty. First some general questions are asked then there Atty left the room and the mediator (referee) went back and forth between the rooms bringing settlement figures back and forth. Mostly my Atty did everything. Once a settlement was reached I had to sign some papers. Then we left and around 3 weeks or so later a check came.

Always believe in yourself. No matter how much some people will make you doubt yourself.
