stay on your record
How long does it stay on your record when you file a claim for Workman's Comp? I did this 2 years ago because I had to at work after passing out at work and fracturing my ankle and it got denied because it had nothing to do with job relating and it seems like I am getting penalized for insurance purposes that I am trying to get. I have had problems all my life with passing out as a child so it was one of those things that I got sick at work and it happened to be that I passed out.
Am I going to be punished for the rest of my life with this on my record? I hold nothing against my work on this issue with them just doing their job and they took care of me by letting me come back to work with light duty and I was grateful for that. |

RE: stay on your record
Brownie- Welcome to the forum. As for your question, I am not sure but it is not that you filed w/c it is the passing out that insurance companies are looking at., and that is part of your medical records and will stay on it unless they are able to find the cause and it stops for at least 2 years.
May God send his angels to hold you in his arms |

Brownie..
May I ask...if your passing out, is heart related? Lilly
Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!! A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless! |

RE: stay on your record
I agree with RNvic. They are most likely looking at the passing out, not the WC claim. A previously fractured ankle would not hinder getting health insurance coverage.
