Per the medical notes, he does not reference dre categories. Assignment of 5% to body as whole as result of spondylolisthesis and the spondylosis. "I think he has a 5% impairment to his body as a whole" and references if I can not find work and remain employed, I might consider lumbar fusion. Do you know of a resource for AMA 6th edition DRE categories?

RE: Impairment rating
I saw a source that listed the DRE catagories for the 6th a couple of weeks ago. I'll try to find it again. I didn't bookmark it as my case/claim is still under the 5th and I just went ahead and bought the book a couple of years ago. I'll let you know what I find out.

Thanks for the information. I am going to seek a second opinion on my IR. Also, my first offer came in from the WC carrier. $21,000 with future meds-future meds is required in TN for life. Received a 5% from WC panel doctor and a multiple of 2 from WC carrier. By the way, my request for accommodation was denied and I have been layed off from my job.

Good luck with your health and your settlement, I'm very new to all of this and it is all greek to me could you please explain "IR, future meds, multiple of 2, and accommodations". Sorry if this question sounds crazy but all of this is mind boggling to me. Thank you for your time....
