Obama assasination plot

I am going to weigh in on this one. First, Timothy Belt, well said. I agree completely. As for the two boneheads arrested in what is widely being called the "Obama Plot", lets put this into a little perspective:

These guys wanted, as I understand it, to go on a killing spree that would end with Obama. They wanted to dress up in white tuxes and top hats, and shoot 88 black people, as well as behead 14 black people. I understand that Obama was to be the ultimate "finale". If that is correct, these idiots were no greater a threat to Obama than my mother. Try to picture this. Dressed in white tuxes and top hats.... shooting people in a progressive plan... (not to mention beheading 14 more) does anyone think they would have reached Obama????

Don't get me wrong. These guys were whack jobs, and probably represented a great danger to someone, but not Obama.

I believe there are people out there who DO represent a danger to Obama. I also believe there are people out there who represent a danger to George W. Bush. Take away his Secret Service protection, and how long do you think he (or ANY sitting President) would last? Anyone remember how many attempts there were on Gerald Ford's life? Three in as many months as I recall. Ronald Reagan got shot, let us not forget. The danger is present for our presidents no matter what their color. There are many sicko's out there, but these two don't even come close to being the actual threat to a candidate that is being portrayed in the media today.
