I cut the Fentynal Patches to 12.5 Mcc lst night. It was the night from hell. I wish I had never been put on them. I finally got to sleep sometime after 5 this morning. My body did the flu like thing agian. I was having cold spells, hot flashes, running nose, watering eyes, and internal twiching and jerking. I laid there for ever just moaning and groaning. Finally from exhaustion I fell asleep. I am some better today. I just got off phone with NCM (I have been assigne one for telephone calls only). They are all concerned about my return to work date. Like I told her I had not see the PM DR's notes. That I have an appointment with my POR this Friday. I could tell her more after I see him. She wants me to call her office after Dr. visit on Friday and leave a message as she will not be in. Wanted to know about my meds and wanted to know if the Patches was the last meds to be taken off of. I let her know that was the first med that I am being taken off of. as they only want to do one at at time. She said the PM Dr put n his notes that he wants me off for another 4 weeks and wants me to go into Voc Rehab with a start back to work gradually, she says her and the adjuster are confused as to what he wants. I told her I have no Idea as I have not see the PM Dr's notes. I do not want to say anything to her or agree to anything with her over the phone. I will leave it all to my POR and my Attorney come this Friday. I am looking forward to not useing the Duragesic Patches anymore If my body can get through this, There is no way I can return to work and try to continue to be weaned off this patch at the same time. My body is hell right now and try to stand on my feet 10 hrs a day no way friends.

sorry you are having so much trouble coming off medications. I would talk with you doctor about the problems and how best to come of the medications. You must be careful and come down slowly or the reactions can be bad.

Why if you have a lawyer are you even talking to and adjuster I would say ask my lawyer and read the report

I went to Dr. today. The SCS seems to have settled into its pocket, Leads are doing good. I am going to try to go back to work next week. One Dr wants me to start out part time for the first 4 weeks, but my POR said it was up to me, I told him I would try it full time starting next week and If I can not do it I will be in his office to have him put me off again.
