Thank for all the reply from everyone I really appreciated it! I also found out that even if you have a lawyer you can contact the insurance companies and talk to them about your check. I found out that they did sent the check in August but since I didn't receive it they issues me a new one.

So it was lost in the mail? I have had that happen once with my mileage reimbursement check. As long as they see you did not cash it, they will send you one. Glad to hear you got that cleared up.
