injured rights
I was hurt on my job cut the ends of 2 of my fingers and they are trying to get me to come back to work--i feel i am not ready as i a m still in a lot of pain. I have lost from the first joint down on my left--pointer and middle finger--is there some type of settlement I can get? Dr. is in with the company and I was told by another employee that a mechanic put the wrong screw on the machine I was running and that is whatcaught my glove and twisted my fingers off. I am very confused about all this and my rights-

If you have a dispute you'll have to take it to your state's work comp board. You'll need medical evidence that you can't return to work.
If you have a safety complaint most states use OSHA for enforcement.

Are you afraid in any way to return to work? If so just to get some counseling. Just a thought , that most injuries cause some fear of getting injured again.
