Got a check
The mail came today and I received a check from the wc insurance company for two months of TTD.

Problem is I also receive SSD and the insurance company know this.
Last year when I had surgery on the other knee and I collected TTD with the offset of SSD.

Tomorrow I will take the check to my attorney's office so he can have his 25%.

Problem is I don't know what to do on the social security part or how to do it.

Any suggestion?

If SSA knows of this check wouldn't they offset your ssdi checks, guess you could always call them before they contact you, Good Luck Bummer and hope you are feeling better, Halftrak

I'm hoping it's all your's BK....but to be sure & safe, call the SS office and let them know, as one must always contact them and inform of any income changes anyways.

Bummer...I agree with the group. Call SS and make sure they know. In mine and my husband;s case a seperate check was always sent to our attorney so this might all be yoursBig Grin Glad something good has happened to you. How is the Neurontin coming along?

RE: Got a check
I went to the Social Security Administration office today and showed the check to them.

They said the check will result in an overpayment of the SSD benefits. They will provide me with directions on how to repay them.

Next, I went by my attorney's office and gave the check to him. The attorney took his share and I was issued a check for the remainder.

While I was at my attorney's office I scheduled an appointment to visit with him on the atuo accident.

Just wanted to update.

Sweet Tooth

Yes, I did. The check was for $1,400.00 and after the attorney gets his part and SSA repaid I will end up with around $200.00, the check is for TTD. My attorney tells me I am owed for another 6 months of TTD.
