do i have to?

So confused...
Thanks for the info...now an update

I talked with my HR manager and they are waiting for corporate (their lawyer and the safety director) to decide what to do with me as far as my job goes...

Then I call my w/c adjuster and she tells me that once released from doctor with a rating they are done with me...I asked her if I am let go from my job because of the restrictions to my hand will w/c pay me till I find another job and she said no...I could get the state to do employment rehabilitation...I asked about second opinion and she says they don't second opinions but I could do a medical provider change once during my case...So where do I go from here???

Would it be to my benefit to talk with a lawyer or am I wasting my time??

RE: do i have to?
I still think you should have your own thread so as not to confuse your situation with the original poster Jrome1

RE: do i have to?
Will the REAL admin. please stand up???? Since when do we have someone here telling people where they can or cannot post other than the administrator of the site??

I think they are very simular situations and If the origional poster does not see a problem, then I do not see why you should. Let's leave that decision up to someone who has the authority, or origional post to make that call. There is always one person in the crowd that thinks they can take control!!!

I appologize to the rest if I came off harsh, but I can only take so much and today is not one of them. Wise remarks all the time from this one poster is really getting on my nerves. I am just thankful this person is not my adjuster or he/she would be canned by now just with their attitude that comes across. THUMP THUMP!!!

RE: do i have to?
sure, it's pretty easy.
just go to the injured worker forum and in the upper right corner above the posts just click the NEW THREAD button. It's helpful especially when posts have multiple replies to them.

RE: do i have to?
If 12 years later you are still on doctor's restrictions...you should not be doing anything outside of what he says you can do...nor should your work put you in that situation. If the restrictions have been lifted by the MD.... then you can.
IMO, you should file a new claim pronto...and do as the doctor advises. If you need surgery, do it! Or you're going to suffer for a very long time!

RE: do i have to?
you may want to post your question in a separate thread so it's not confused with jrome1's original post. Make sure to put your state in your user profile.

see prior post to littleone:
