Are we talking about when you get hurt at work, right after the injury? I know when I got hurt in NH and I worked at a hospital, I did not get drug tested. Where I work now in Construction, if someone got hurt on the job, they are sent to the hospital and drug tested right away.

So I would say it would depend on the company? Maybe someone else would have a better answer. I think it is a personal choice by company/insurance policy.

Some eployers and their Insurance require a Drug test when injured on the job.
