When I settled, I first signed the papers, Then they had to be ok,ed by the arbutrator which took a week, Then I had to wait for the IC to cut the check, they had 8 weeks to respond and get the check to my attorney. The check was hand delivered the day before the 8 weeks were up They just waited untill the last day, so don't be surprised......I am in Illinois.
