If you are on Total disability, your payments would not stop if you quit. However, when the doctor releases you to go back to work, with or without restrictions, then you would not receive temporary partial payments. If you let us know what state you are in (unless I missed it), we can give more specific information.

May I ask how do you know it's a bad environment? Is a co-worker calling and telling you these things? If so put a stop to it. People can say whatever they want. Yes it makes and IW life miserable and hurts like all hell. Someone told everyone the day I was injured that I quit. I actually had a co-worker that I thought was my friend call me to see if it was true so she would stick around and apply for my job. There were 2 people with lots of seniority in line for my job and she wasn't one of them. After 2 years I am still employed but know in my heart that if I ever had to walk in there again after the lies that have been told about me and the way I have been treated that I would probably have a breakdown. I am withing you the best with this. I asked my attorney and he said while off of work what other say and do have nothing to do with me. IF I was working and they were making my life a living hell it would be different. Prayers.
