RE: Medical History?
I asked my attorney for mine.. He was willing to have them copied for me and I could come pick them up. But said my file was the most extensive file he'd ever had, and it was Very thick! I just haven't done it yet.

RE: Medical History?
Got pain every time you go to the doctor ask for copy of report to be sent to you. Most will not charge if you ask when you are there for appointment. Set up files for each doctor as this will make it easier to keep up with.

May God send his angels to hold you in his arms

RE: Medical History?
My Drs. all charge for the copying, around .50/page. But, they are required by law to give them to you and they have always done so happily. From this point on, you can always ask for your previous appt.'s report, when you go in for you visits, and since they already have your chart out and open...they have never charged me, if I do it that way.

I realize that you are looking for your older records, though, so you should be able to get those from your lawyer. Anything that the opponenets lawyer has, they have to show it to your lawyer. Thus, you will have access to what ever it is that they have.

If you are looking for all of your reports, even those that they do not have right now, I would think the best way to do that, would be to go to your Internal Med. Dr. and any other Dr. that you saw, and request your reports from them. Just make sure that you mention that you want everything in you file...otherwise you will likely get only the Drs. notes.
