Hello all,
I'm so tickled right now. I had my post-op visit today. The staples hurt like He** coming out, but that is over with. I asked my Dr. if I was allowed to drive, he said only short trips for awhile. I then explained about the castle get away and that it was in 12 days and that it was a four hour drive. He said that I could do it, but only if I stop about once an hour and get out and walk a little, YAHOO!!!. I also am still not allowed to twist at all and only bend a small amount occasionally. I will return for both the neck and back check up in 4-6 weeks. SO I'M GOING TO BE AT THE CASTLE, HEHEHEHE. Sorry but even though I'm still hurting, I'm so excited. I made sure to tell the Dr. that I was only going to be resting and visiting friends, and nothing strenuous. I figure that as many nurses and mothers that are going to be there, I won't be allowed to do anything wrong, lol.

Backache, please PM or email me with what I have to bring with me again, I lost my darn list. If you would be sweet enough to PM me your phone number I would appreciate that. I do need to ask you a few things.

Sorry this is so long, but I can't believe that I get to go. I need the change of scenery and to meet y'all. I won't take my pain medicine while I'm driving there, but I will bring them with me.

Love y'all, I can't wait now,lol. I do have a differant type of doctor appointment the week before the trip but I'm sure it won't change anything.

Vickie I am glad you are going to get to go to the castle, have a great time but PLEASE do not over do. Is there someone that you can get to go with you so you don't have to do all the driving? Sure wish I could go but, not able to make it, maybe next time.

It's just me, I have an ex-husband and his fiance, who are my friends, but they both work. I know more people and have more friends here than I ever had, lol. I'll take it easy and stop often.
