Another milage question
I was not informed that i was allowed milage until 2 months ago.My case is very old.How far back could I go and be reimbursed?I am sure I can get all or most of my app. dates. Also, how much do they pay for milage?I live in a rural area and have to travel 90 miles one way.

RE: Another milage question
mmmmmmmmmm if they pay it they gonna owe you a bunch....

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: Another milage question
Look under your state for the information. In Texas they pay 50.5 cents per mile if it is at least 30 miles or over one way. So if it is 30 miles, then it is a little over 30 dollars for a round trip and that sure helps with the gas being as high as it is!

RE: Another milage question
I was paid for 2 1/2 years worth of mileage. I had to write down, Drs. name and address, date of appt., reason for appnt., and the mileage. I used Mapquest to measure the mileage and made a chart on the bottom of the page, that listed all the mileages...so all my appnts. to a certain Dr. was always the same # of miles and it showed them that I was giving accurate info. I also totaled the no. of mileage, at the bottom of the page. I tried to put myself in the place of the perswon that was going to be reading and processing it. I figured that if is was simple to read and clear, as to what I was declaring my mileage, I would get my money faster. I got my check in about 3 weeks.

Good luck.
