workers comp. case denied need to see neurologist!
ON 4/5 I WAS INJURED ON THE JOB AND I DID EVERYTHING THAT WORKERS COMP.ASKED OF ME, AND BECAUSE I COULDN'T REMEMBER THE EXACT DETAILS(MEMORY LOSS DUE TO ACCIDENT)- THEY DENIED MY CLAIM. I HAVE A LAWYER AND I STILL NEED TO SEE A NEUROLOGIST FOR NUMBNESS IN MY HANDS AND ARMS AND WHAT I CAN ONLY DESCRIBE AS MINI-SEIZURES (UN-CONTROLLABLE SHAKING AND BOBBING OF HEAD AND ARMS) ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT.ALSO I SUFFER FROM SEVERE HEADACHES AND DOUBLE VISION.MY LAWYER IS BASICALLY TELLING ME THAT I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OWN BILLS AND I CAN'T GO TO A NEUROLOGIST WITHOUT A REFFERAL-I HAVE 2 OF THEM!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO?I'M SCARED THIS IS GETTING WORSE AND I'M CONFUSED AS TO WHAT I SHOULD DO.

What is your injury? Did you go to the ER and file a WC claim? You would of had to of gone for treatment and say it was WC i would think and have a full report of what happened.

Do you have a lawyer?

You don't give Us the State You are in, but if You have been Denied a w/c Claim, in Most Instances You can Appeal the Decision to w/c Judge for a Hearing. Have You spoken to Your Attorney about Appealing the Decision? A Lot of w/c Claims are initially Denied, and it takes an Appeal and a Hearing to get it Re-Instated. Best of Luck, and Please keep Us Informed!Wink

As far as Your Injuries, if You have been Denied a w/c Claim, You should be able to Use Your Private Ins. to get the Care You need, and if You do Win Your Appeal, w/c will have to Reimburse Your Ins. Co. I Hope this has Helped, and Have a Great Day!!Wink

YES I WENT TO THE ER AND FILED AN ACCIDENT REPORT THE DAY AFTER I WAS INJURED BECAUSE I DID NOT REALIZE MY INJURY WAS SO SEVERE.I HAD FACIAL CONTUSIONS,SEVERE CERVICAL SPRAIN,SEVERE CONCUSSION.STILL HAVE HEADACHES,DOUBLE VISION,NAUSEA,FATIGUE,AND THE MINI SEIZURES.AND THE "SEIZURES" ARE VERY SCARY.I CAN'T USE MY ARMS OR HANDS, AND MY HEAD SHAKES UNCONTROLLABLY. I'M IN FLA. AND I AM UN
FAMILIAR WITH THE LAWS HERE.ALL I KNOW IS I AM WEARY AND I FEEL LIKE I AM NEVER GOING TO GET A RESOLUTION.

Hi,
Here's you state WC link. http://www.workerscompensation.com/florida.php
You need to fight for medical treatment, as something is majorly wrong if you are having seizures. IMO...this is dangerous for you!
Take care, and keep us informed please. LillySmile
