RE: What should I do?????
I too am very sorry for what you are going through. You should be recieving help from some doctor by now. A neurologist would be a good one to start with. Sounds like alot of nerve problems when you speak of the symptoms. Do NOT get caught up in getting worse like the rest of us due to no treatments. I still had not had a MRI for over a year 1/2 now and hopefully will be getting one this week through a doctor out of wc. I am trying to help myself now. I gave up on WC as they do not care to get us the help due to money issues. MRI would be to much money for them.

I would definitly get rid of the lawyer you have right now before you get to involved in the case. You are already having trouble with this lawyer so find a new one quick. I wish you luck, and feel for your pain. You should at least be in a PM clinic of some sort to help you with your pain. All I can say is I am very disgusted in the WC system and sure hope you do go to the paper and tell them how UNTREATED/MISTREATED they are doing to us injured working people. I think it is very unfair that they can play doctor and decide what treatment/meds we need without really having any doctorate degree.

I wish you the best. If you do go to the papers, mention how unfair it is to pay a IME doctor to go against the injured worker with lies and putting reports together that are so untrue. My example is my IME doctor could not even remember where he saw me for my exam and said i chose to give up my job. He feels i could still do it. I surely would love to get a blood sample from him and drop the needle while it is hanging out of his arm...... Sorry, but so upset with the whole dang thing.

ALL I do is cry each day now and try to finish my job each day at work. The days are getting longer and I am giving up on ever healing. I need to keep my chin up and continue to do the best I can to get help, and I will if it kills me. WC will NOT get the best of me!!!!!

carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD.
1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10%

RE: What should I do?????
You certainly DO NEED MEDICAL treatment! Your injury/condition sounds very dangerous to me! It just pisses me off, that an insurance company, can rule and deny treatment for someone's health and well being!
You have been given great advise, please use it.
A GOOD new lawyer should be able to get you some medical help promptly! You are in dire need of it asap !
Prayers for you, LillySmile

RE: What should I do?????
In Pain, is the Situation You are so Upset about the Fact that they Re-scheduled Your Medical Deposition? I know how You feel, and how You can be Upset, but delays are something that Your Attorney can't always Correct. I had My Case Delayed 3 Times by the w/c Judge, and depositions were Re-scheduled to Suit the Person giving them. I know it's a Slow and Tedious Process and You have to Stay on Top of it, but there is only so much Your Attorney can do on their Own, Many Times the Judge Hearing Your Case allows these Continuances, and Your Attorneys Hands are tied. Best of Luck, I Hope things Start Moving Quicker for You!!Wink

RE: What should I do?????
Well I still have not heard from my attorney that will be fired this week. I did not think I would.
I could not even get out of bed today until the morning advil kicked in. Was up most of the night with hands and feet going numb and woke up once because I could not breath. That part is getting scarey as I have never had that problem until about mid April. I am thinking I may have to go back to ER again this week. I hate putting my boyfriend (fiance) through that. last time he ended up with 1 1/2 hours of sleep then had to go to work I cannot drive myself so have to wait for him to get home to go.
I am waiting for a return call on an attorney I contracted and going from there.
I did send an email to the news station so hopefully something can be done to bring this issue to the public.
I understand that the insurance company has a job to do but they can not deny care to a person who needs it and should be working to get people back to work faster not prolonged for what I am seeing on here for years with some of you that ends up costing more in the long run I cannot see why they do not get that.
It is funny with everything I am going through my close friends always call me to be cheered up when they are down. They said I had to call you because with all you are going through you still smile and are there with your positive remarks to make us feel better. I laugh when they call and say they have a headache, saying yea I know what you mean. LOL! I also tell them to be thankful they have a roof over there head and a job. Look how many people would love to be in your place etc. then they know they should not be having a pitty party. That does make me feel good that I can be frustrated but still have a great outlook on life in general and friends still feel that I can be there to cheer them up no matter what.
I am having a rough day so check in later. Need to go hide my eyes from the light for awhile.
