Any feed back
i was release to go back to work 8 months later. I faxed it to my employer a week later followed up with a phone call to make sure they got the doctor's release form. hr said she received it. i went to work, my assistant was there no up to date personal items boxed plants dead, desk cleaned etc. i call HR she said she didn't have no idea I explained about the fax and called. She said she have a diferent date than WC so she have to clear it up with them. My doctor is on vacation. She sent me home and I told her to put it in writing. she sent it fd ex next day. They kept calling from corporate to amke sure I was gone and to not have me in the office. what an uncomfortable feeling. Now back off work again. Set back. Now someone else is hired in my job. What to do? My doctor put in no longer able to work in an unsafe environment. What is the next step. Sorry so long just frustrated!

Hopefully you are still being paid if they gave up your job. That is just totally wrong to not tell you that your position is no longer there. If they cannot take you back, you should be able to go to voc. rehab to be able to find work. I know that different companies only hold your job for so many weeks.

I think you should call your wc adjuster and find out just what is going on, and what the next step would be. Do you have a lawyer?

Hi,
i would have been totally pissed, if I had impression that i was going to return to work.... and found my desk cleared!!!! It had to be infuriating and embarrassing to you. I'm so sorry you had to go through this turmoil. HR and WC , and who ever talked to you...must have their wires crossed. Like Sparkey says...I hope you are still getting paid! Smart to get HR to put it in writing! CYA, as I bet this won't be pretty.
