Rolleyes UPDATE
Hello everyone,

First let me say I have missed this board, my days are so long and after being off for 10 months I am still trying to adjust. But to make a long story short I HAVE 5 MONTHS LEFT TO RETIRE!!!! YIPPIE. Things are moving along slowly but surly.

I went to a hearing on the 22nd and my attorney says they are ready to settle all my cases. Here is what they propose I can settle now with stips on all of them or I can wait until I retire and just settle all at once with a C&R I think I am going to take the C&R and be done with them. Some may think I am making a big mistake, but after 16 years of being dangled around and jumping to their tune I am done with them period. My medical from my retirement will take care of my injuries like they have been doing off and on for the last few years. I talked to an ex-coworker yesterday and she agreed with me because she took the future medical with them and she says it has been a total nightmare!. Some how they made their ins. co. the primary on her file so everytime she went to the doctor they would have to give the ok on any treatments and that sometimes took months, she was lucky though because she did have medical from her husband.

Once again I would like to thank everyone for your help advice and prayers. You truly helped me through some rough times God bless you all. But I am still here and I will be dropping in from time to time just to say hi and offer any help I can to the new folks and some of the old farts...lol. This board is wonderful I tell people about it all the time to let them know there are people out there just like us.

RE: UPDATE
Hi rholmes!

I'm glad the light is now visable at the end of the tunnel for you!
Retirement is soon on it's way! Then you can kick back, and put this long haul WC stuff to rest.
You are still in my prayers! LillyBig Grin

Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!!

A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless!

RE: UPDATE
wooo hooo you go and retire its awesome....everyone sends you on their errands cuz you are retired and have nothing to do...........or at least thats what they think

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile
