The thing is I'm stuck on modified duty and they created a position for me for now. Problem is I'm only making $150 a week! What do I do!? My bills are getting crazy and I'm out of money!! Should I continue to work or no?

Please help!? Thank you!!

RE: Newbie, Stressed, advice please!?
well, wc should be making up the difference of pay. You could also find another job instead of the one you are at as long as you stay within the restrictions that your doctor puts you at.

Nothing says that you have to stay at that job. If I am not wrong as far as the WC making up the difference in pay. If i am, someone else can come along and let you know. Every state is different, and when i had modified duty 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, WC paid me the difference of what i was makng for a full week.

You need to talk to your adjuster or your HR dept. and find out about your wage difference. There is more info on your state at the top of this website.

carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD.
1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10%

adjuster dont offer any advice that is why you need to learn your states w/c laws ... so at the top of the page click on state infro.

I would be asking about it with either Hr or adjuster ...

why are you getting bills if it happened at work?you should not be paying for anything.give the bills to ur employer and see if they will pay them and ask if they turned in ur injury to work comp.

Each day is not a rite,it's a given.
