RE: Can someone explaine the following, please
I could not see the forest because of the trees. I had my second fce today and it was computerized. At the facility where I do my pt. I never really focused on the black poly-urethane cases. When I got there today they had all the cases open and a computer on a table in the middle of the room. For the most part it was just like yours POOH. They did not do any rom. I did not get the option of walking outside, I had to use the tread mill and they also had me go through a series of stations. Working over head, working bent over, working kneeling and squating, and climbing a ladder. It was alot different from the first one. The attendant ( for lack off a better word ) Told me when he calls me on monday to pick up my copy, to bring my copy of the first one and he would due a comparison and tell me whats going on. You all are correct, it was a lot less pain full.
8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom. |

AQA - make sure you get the complete copy and not just the summary of the FCE - the complete copy will show everything including how unsteady your hands were when you were doing those peg boards ....... lol
I think mine was like 13 pages or something like that - they are also suppose to make any notes as to why you were unable to complete any tests - i.e. couldn't complete overhead test because of pain in arms. Had to walk off numbness in legs after completing the squatting test. I just had to walk 20 minutes so they gave me a choice of where I wanted to walk - outside - inside the lobby or treadmill. They just wanted to see if it caused a limp and pain which it did to a slight extent at that time, but like everything else - if you don't take care of the inflammation - it gets worse and causes more problems. I am still waiting to see a copy of the prescription the doctor wrote me that I never received. |
