How long your medical benefits will be continued is unknown.

I live in California and I was on workers comp but my settlement amount is so small that they stopped paying me as soon as I became Permanent and stationary. So now I am on disability and that will run out soon also. I can then go on unemployment but if the economy stays bad then I will then have to go on welfare to support me and my son. I owe my son more than that so I figure I can tough it out at work on pain pills until the economy picks up again.
I don't know the consequences are of me doing this.

If the doctor takes off the takes off the work restrictions can I still keep my medical open?

RE: Going back to work?
california provides lifetime care but only for the original work injury. If the doctors report a new aggravation the treatment will stop.
