RE: Anyone here with a scs
RSD wanted to let you know there is a few others here also beside myself with RSD so you will find support in the way also. I am sure you will see all them in the next day or to. Just thought you like to know that. So tell us more about you. I got RSD from a shoulder surgery over a year ago. It pretty much has my upper body. When I thought I couldn't live with the pain from my shoulder down my arm. Boy what I wouldn't do to go back to that pain. And not deal with the RSD pain. But as you know we can't change what has happened to us. So we learn ways to deal. So tell me what you have tried in the 7 years. I am always interested in what others do to help with thier RSD. Sorry don't mean to ask so many questions so soon.

RE: Anyone here with a scs
rsdhurts I do not have RSd, I have had a cervical fusion . went back to work and have not injured my low back. Surgrey is not an option for my low back, because the surgeon says I will be worse off if he did surgrey, and the surgeon says he will not do a 4 level fusion on me. and he is recomending a SCS. I went to see a dr last week about it. and this dr is sending all the paper work to the Bureau of Workmans comp to get it approved. SO down the road eventually I will be doing the trial for a SCS

Cervical Fusion 2003, c5-c6. Herniated and damaged Disc L1- L4-L5 S1. Lumbar Spinal Cord stimulator implant 09-2008. Cervical ACDF revision with hardware c4-c5-c6-c7 Sept 2009.
SSDI approved 3-2010. NOW OFFICIALY RETIRED

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile
