Doe's anyone know the laws on filing for disability??? If it's a year until I even get a hearing would I not qualify?? I can't find a job 1 handed.................and its my dominant hand thats messed up too.
Just wondered if anyone might know??

thank you so much AQA..............I saw the doctor Jan. 7th who put me on 1 hand duty. Comp wants to settle and offerd 2,300. That won't even pay for the surgery I need. The lawyer is asking for a hearing but could be a year before we get one which is totally crazy.

Rising I think Iowa has an emergency hearings or something about alternate hearings ... within 15 days ...Go read and see if its just for alternate care or if also for speical needs ...
