RE: just need to rant
Good morning Grundig!! Looks like its going to be a beautiful day today in good ol Michigan!! OPen your windows, let the fresh air in and relax. Everything happens for a reason. So delaying your surgery twice probably is the best thing for you and you just dont see it yet. Take this time to get yourself well my friend. If you have anything that has hydrocodone in it, take it for your cough. It really does help. My dr had given me bactrim for the pneumonia, my chest was feeling better in just a couple of days. Try not to smoke as much, or even switch to a lighter brand if you can. You have my number so if you need to vent, just call me. The only time im not available today is between 230-430 for physical therapy.
Take care and feel better... (((((HUGS))))) |

RE: just need to rant
Hi all...grundig...I agree with the rest. It is difficult when you are both hurt. Take a deep breath as suggested many times and stop to think about all the good times you have had with your wife in the pass. Remember she is going through the same kind of pain that you are going though. She may even feel guilty that she is unable to give you more support. My husband is the IW and I have MS. I feel so guilty when I see the pain that my husband is in and he has to do so much for me. I hope to day is moves towards a better day for you. My prayers are with you and your wife.
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. |

RE: just need to rant
Grundig
Trust me I know what it's like when both partners hurts. Driller and I both try to be understanding of the others pains and we also try and hide them from the other when we can. Like I did this weekend. He knew when I had just about had enough and sent me in to shower or take a bath because he knew I wasn't going to say anything at all to him. I wanted to get the job done that we had been working on this weekend. (And it looks great by the way!) But we may hire someone the next time it needs done ......... we will see how things are by then. Anyway - remember that sometimes we can't do things when we hurt - but at the same time we will do things when we hurt just because we want to do something that we want to do. Also understanding helps - When one is in alot of pain then the other has to understand that it will be a down day for them as far as doing much. I know first thing this morning driller told me to take a pain pill but I refused because I had so much to do today that I wanted to get done. (Yeppers I am stubborn) Other than that - screaming trees work great. |
