Well if I read that rite you are approved. I know that is alot of weight removed from the mind. Good For you.
If you don't mind. How long in total did it take?? 8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom. |

Nutpn,
I am glad for you. I was turned down twice already, my third try will be before the Alj judge, but I was told, the waiting period is at least two years for the hearing. I applied for ssdi last July. How long did it take you? |

RE: had hearing for ssdi on 3-25-08
it took almost 1 year to the day,I put in for it on 4-2-07 and was turned down on the initial and we go straight to the hearing with the ALJ in alabama, lucky I guess,I had all my congressman and senators behind me,and I had several problems ,L2-L3,L5-S1,carpal tunnel in both hands ,drop foot ,permanent nerve damage in right leg,and a double fusion at c5,c6,c7,I would recommend contacting all my senators, plus all I have ever done is maintenance with no employment breaks, and the ALJ was very courteous and said it takes a little common sense in some of these cases, like someone thats worked most of their life and then all of a sudden they have to quit, they arent screwing around, get an e-mail to your senators and congressman, thanks, and what a load off ,but the most important is the lord..pray,pray and pray some more
