Confused about some issues...
Hi all. I am at MMI. I just had an IME exam and an exam from my regular doctor, and these are the findings...

My IME doctor doesn't want me to return to a keyboarding position and he is putting me at scheduled loss of use.

My regular doctor reduced my restrictions to "no heavy torquing or twisting" and states that I am free to return to keyboarding position. He is putting me at a classification however.

So, my question to you all that know is, since the doctors are saying two different things, which one will hold up in court for the scheduled loss of use or the classification?

(By the way, it was my request for my doctor to release my restrictions on the keyboarding, not that it matters.) Smile

the one the judge likes.
hopefully it also has the most well reasoned arguments and stronger physical findings to support conclusion.

RE: Confused about some issues...
I asked my doctor to release my restrictions for keyboarding because I don't want permanent keyboarding restrictions. I may have to find another office job and I have to support myself.

I am still under permanent restrictions for no heavy repetetive torquing, twisting and gripping or something like that.

How is that going to hurt me? My award amount, is that what you mean?

The IME doctor put me at only 7 and 1/2 % per each arm.

My regular doctor put me at a classification, but I don't know what his percentages are yet.

I'm totally confused. My hearing is April 10 to determine if my benefits should be reduced or suspended, but I'm assuming that the amount of the "award" or whatever you call it will be determined then also. Don't know.
