RE: Depression
Hi Prncess: Thanks for the hugs. I have been poking around on those sites and can't decide which one to go to. I really want to talk to a psychologist but have to wait on approval. I have a follow up with PTP this week so I guess I'll see what he has to say.

RE: Depression
Hi Sithie: I don' sleep much during the night, but in the morning, I can't get out of bed. Somehing about starting a new day, ugh!
![]() I've never been a game person, but one of these nights, I'll check out POGO. You guys/gals seems to really like it. Thanks! Limbo: Thanks for your support. As I've said before, you always have good opinions and I respect your opinions. Any idea on how to get in to see a Psychologist quicker? My husband said all I have to do is tell my doctor that I feel like killing myself, and I will get in right away. But, that's not true, I just want to disappear! Ha! Wink: What happened to my pic? I think maybe it was too big and Admin erased it! Shoot! Let Go, and Let God...... |

RE: Depression
Hi all...Chris it is very good to hear you are feeling better. Also, all the support that you have recieves such enforces in my mind how supportive and caring this group of people really are. It is great to be surrounded by such loving and caring people isn't it.
Depression is so hard for me to talk about becasue I have such a history with it for the past two years. I know it dangers. I believe that I slept the entire year of 2006. I don't even remember it happening. I just hid away and i believe that it was said just recently that i left the house only to go to doctors appointments. Even now I don't leave to often. I am however, taking painting classes again 4-5 times a month so that helps a lot. I believe that one of the most important things that I did, to get out of a DEEP depression was to find this group of people. I read for a few months prior to resgistering and I was just amazed at how much they cared for everyone on here. Always let us know when you are feeling low and I know that this group is here to help you. Are you on an antidepressant? Are you seeing Mental Health for some therapy? It is really helpful, at least it was for me. You are in my prayers. Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. |

RE: Depression
Chris, I wish I had the correct answer to help get you in quicker, but I do know what is done here in Pa., I had to do it myself once due to Depression. I went to my local Hospital that had a Psych. Ward, and told them that I felt that I might be a danger to myself due to my Depression, and I admitted myself for evaluation. Nothing goes on your permanent record if you do it that way, and I had to stay for three days. I had Group and individual Therapy, and it really helped me! Just wanted to give you something to think about, maybe a few days away from everything could be good for you!! As always, my Best to you, and I hope you are happier again soon!!
