Hey Tweety............i wish i could say things were better but you know how fast wc is. I have been off work since Jan. 10th as the doctor that did my IME put me on 1 hand duty. Well after he did that I lost my new job I had only worked at for 4 days.
So.............here I sit with no income and who knows how long this will go on. I just want my hand and arm better so i can work.................we are staying with friends right now as we can't even afford our own place to live with me like this. I'm sure you know living with others isn't an easy thing either.
I'm to the point though that I may have to go against doctors orders and get a job just so we can get out of here and into our place again.

Rising Yep that sounds just iowa w/c for you ... Me well ....... had neck fusion c5 c6 in july put on light duty but employer couldnt work with that .... given ok to go back after 13 weeks ... then I got the reapply ... So since I know with restrctions on the back yet lol I cant do that ... (w/c doctor denied but didnt take restrictions away )
So since then Im .. Living off family ... hoping to try my hand at self employment ..
Never knew your back can be having problems and resolved all in the same day (quack who back dates reports )
Iowa laws bite ... No doctors want anything to do with old denied cases ...
Going in to get egd (scoped down the thraot ) hope that helps the nausau.Then maybe back to the neuro to see if he wants to start pain managerment ..
Sorry DH doesnt thing we should fight for w/c since I wasnt off work only on light duty .. but one day I say he@@ ah and then on good days I think I just want to move on ... But to work where ??? Im just a yoyo ..... with emotions at times ...
