proving survivorship
In Virginia, the deceased father's name is not on his two children's birth certificates because he was out of the states during his children's birth. He was never married to the mother of his children. He signed child support documents and has paid child support for many years. Are these documents satisfactory proof that he is their father at a hearing? What other documents or suggestions would help this mother and her children?
