Time frame MMI rating
Just wondering how long after MMI percentage rating from doctor can I expect to be in front of a judge and settle this whole darn thing? (assuming that the i/c agrees with the percentage). Is it a long process or can it go fairly quickly? Also, if you forgo any future medical will that entitle you to more money? The reason I ask is because I have already had surgery and therapy. There is nothing else that can be done for me now anyway. I just have to continue my therapy at home now to avoid flare ups.

RE: Time frame MMI rating
The only thing I want to throw out there, make sure your injury is not something that may be re injured or flare up again later, if you are not going to ask for medical. My daughter had surgery on her ankle, it was a rather simple surgery, done in a day w/ a 1 inch incision. She did her P/T, and a year later she began having problems in the exact same area. They could not figure out why, but she did have to go back for another surgery to make sure there wasn't something wrong with the screw they had put in her foot, and has had to have 2 more rounds of P/T. So, just make sure your Dr. really doesn't think there is a chance you will need more P/T or surgery.
