i was approve for ssdi can a person draw ssdi and ttd payments at the same time .... or can  i draw only one or the other.thanks again. i guess what im saying is i have never drew any ttd checks say i do start getting them . can i draw them both lol thanks again

Hi,
Yes, I am doing that now....getting TTD + SSDI. SSDI is a lower amount than it would be getting normally, because I am receiving WC pay. Check your state as it may differ than mine.

to my understanding one will deduct from the other. sometimes it's SSD who cuts your benefit because of what you're receiving from WC and some IC cut your check and deduct what you're receiving from SSD. I remember in '99 when i was on WC for 18 months that my pension carrier told me I could collect disability from them and WC. they didn't care but WC would have deducted my pension check for theirs.

Hi rawhide! I receive both TTD and SSDI. SSDI will be used as a supplement to your TTD payments if you fall below The SSDI arrived at rate of 80%. They will pay you the difference that gets you to the 80%. Best of Luck!!Wink
