one more thing
I filed my claim two years ago this march. I was working until the pain got to bad.I have been off work for a little over a year. I can tell that w/c and my doctors are about done with me. But I am in the same state as when this mess started.
I have three herniated disks in my neck that are pushing on nerve roots.I have a herniated disk in my lower back that is causing nerve pain down one leg. aND I have carpol tunnel.
Besides some physical therapy and a few procedure done to my lower back, nothing has been done. Now my doc says surgery will just make matter worse.
Can they do that? Say they are done when I am stillin the same place I was when I started?
I am in constant pain. There is no way I can get a job like this. What the heck am I suposed to do?

RE: one more thing
doctors cannot guarentee they can cure you.
Many states allow settlements whereby a worker becomes responsible for providing their own treatment.
Most states allow second medical opinions or consultations.
You might contact thecarrier/employer about getting another doctor's opinion about treatment options before deciding how to proceed with your claim.

I don't know about the laws in your state, but in VA, we are allowed to get a 2nd oinion from a Dr. of our choice. Is your Dr. a w/c Dr? Could this be why they ar in agreement of no surgery?

Just a thought.
