RE: need advice quickly
risingeagle222...I am on a VA disability pension and I am wondering why they would change your husbands pension related to you working. They never did that to me, when my husband was working. Is there something different about his claim or did the VA make a mistake that needs to get straightened out. I know when I was first disablied and put on VA disability, they started to charge me for medications. I knew that wasn't right, and I had to fight with them for about a year before they would get their paper right so I would stop getting the bills. Might be something to check into.

Question RE: need advice quickly
Definitely check with the VA on this. My ex-husband was on VA disability and my income NEVER affected his checks! In fact, when we got married...they increased....and they never once asked if I was working or how much I made. Some of our health was also provided for. That didn't make up for him being what he is though!!! LOL Shoulda not gone there!!!! Sorry!
Anyway, do as was suggested earlier, if nothing else it'll help relieve some of the discomfort. Definitely contact your surgeon first thing in the morning...that way, if they've had any cancellations he can see ya!!! I know how busy they are.....thus making it hard to see on a moments notice!
Take care of YOU!!!!! We're here for ya!
Happy Mother's Day to you too!!!

RE: need advice quickly
risingeagle, I am going to spend sometime today trying to find some potential answers for you. I don't understand why his VA pension and the SSDI would have an affect on each other. They do not for me. I recieve both. I understand that it is not service connected so then I would think that the SSDI would pay more than the VA at 400.00. I am so confused about this...it does sound like you are in a catch 22 here.
