Bethsha - maybe Im wrong but generally they have you sign a release of your health records to them (or something like that) before they can see you .As far as I can tell per my current 13 doctors its a standard thing now adays.

In my state the IC can request an IME every 6 months. That being said and my husband and I both being IW's we have been to alot of IME's. Some lie, some don't. My attorney would have a stoke if I told him I wasn't going. Need an independant ride the last time and was dropped off at the wrong hospital twice. Yes I was scared and in alot of pain. I also have never been asked to sign anything. What test I had with me was all they got from me. Beth, I'm glad she showed up.
