People on Here
You people on here just amaze me. I been all over the web, different boards etc... and I cannot find a more friendlier, warmer board than this. People actually respond back to you and seem to care. I been reading alot of posts here.
One said something about whats in Yucca Valley stays there. I have to ask is that in AZ. I used to live in Kingman. I am also an iw, mutiple cervical disc herniaiton, spinal stenosis, ddd etc.. I have went for one mediation it was continued, now go back in June. Been a nervous wreck and fighting from losing all that we have. My days are filled with tears because its a no win situation. Don't get anymore checks. My work restrictions will make it difficult to get a job anywhere. I am stuck, Kinda hard to get a job when your arm gets tires after the 3rd potato you peeled. Can't enjoy swimming in the pool anymore because my arms won't take it. My life is ruined but do they care? They cheat me out of my TTD but I see nothing to be reimbursed. I do have a lawyer. I feel like I am in the dark all the time. By the time we end this we are going to be so far behind on everything that if I get anything it will take that to just catch up, but then get behind again cause no work. Anyway I am sorry I rambled on here. Sometimes need to just vent and this seem like the place to do it. Your all wonderful. |

RE: People on Here
Welcome debysu! I'm sorry to hear of your current situation, you can read my injuries at the bottom of this post, so you know I understand your pain! Just a question, did you file for SSDI? I filed when I was 43 yrs. old (Usually at that age it's next to impossible to get approved) and they approved me in 3mos./3wks. without an attorney. Now you would think getting approved that fast filing with my injury only W/c would move my case along quicker. Nope! I'm still in the same boat with you, constant never ending pain and the stress from w/c on top of it all. Try the SSDI route, you may get lucky as I did, and at least have some income until your case settles. Again. Welcome and please know you can vent here anytime!!

RE: People on Here
Welcome to the family Debysu
Sorry to hear of all that is going on with you, unfortunately most of us have either been there or are still going through it. I hope you will do as suggested and file for SSDI, if you do get approved and I hope you will it will take some of the stress of which helps physically as well as mentally. Take care of yourself and I'm so glad to have you here (well, I'm not glad you're hurt...didn't mean it that way, but glad you found this place).PS - I am the one from Yucca Valley and yes, it is in CA. One of our members will be coming to visit some of her fasmily here so we will finally get to meet. Yippeeee! Please click the link below to help provide food for homeless animals. It's free and only takes a second of your time!
