Settlement amount affecting SSD payments?

Since SSD has an $800 a month cap on how much you can make. If you spread the settlement so it's less than that. Would that affect your SSD payment? I do not have a lawyer no one was interested. I was on SSD almost 10 yrs ago I worked hard for a year REABILITATING MYSELF to make it back into the work force. This W/C injury has put me back and more to where I was. Will SSD take into consideration that I was on it before?

i AM IN THE SAME TYPE LOST PART OF THE LEFT FOOT AND WAS TOLD TO NEVER WALK AGAIN WAS HAULING AND WORKING RACING CARS NOW TOOK OUT BOTH HANDS RIGHT KNEE BACK AND NECK . gOT SSI IN1990. wE ARE IN THE SAME BOAT.
