how long before you hear results of PIR rateing?

Okay i am at my wits end now. I had my PIR rateing Dec. 7th and it has been over a month now. I have been waiting on the results of the rateing and have no idea if they have a time limit to get back to me with it. When i had it done, i emailed the IC the mileage and they said they would pay it the same time as the PIR rateing. Well, yesterday i got a check in the mail for the mileage and that is about it. How long do they have to get back to you and is there a penalty for being late like there is for weekly checks and mileage reimbursement? I hate to call the ic co. as i do not want them to think i am ready to settle due to being in need for the money. Any help would be appreciated.

Please excuse me. isn't the pir the settlement?????? every state is different. Have you thought of contacting the dr that did the rating and find out the results???? After all that is a start.

It is the settlement and i did go to the doctors office and ask them two weeks ago when i was there at another appt. and they told me that the IC co. now owns the results and they will have to give it to me. I do not want to go calling the ic yet, and will give them another week before i do, but i was wondering why the heck i have not heard anything yet?

My husband said do not go calling as i will seem to anxious and that could effect the amount i get paid etc etc. So i am trying to see if there is any legal amount of time there should be and do not know who else to contact. Thank you AQA.

contact the IC and tell them you need a copy of it for your records...when asking for it at docs office to add to your records they told you to contact IC its that simple.....weather or not they give it to you is another matter

I agree with Jayne.

In my case, I don't care who is paying for the dr. apointment. I will get a copy of the medical report. I have as much a right to get a copy as does who ever payed for it. I am wondering if the dr. office just does not like giving out the copies of a pir because they are affraid of a confirtation from an injured worker that dissagrees with it.
