how does it work

RE: how does it work
I had a hearing on 12/7/07 and the judge ordered the IC to put my payments back up to what they were prior to them lowering them since I was suppose to be back to work light duty, but couldn't do it. It is 31 days later and I still haven't received a check so I called my attorney and he is filing penalty papers with the judge for me. He said they may wait and have a hearing before they give me the money, but more than likely they will cut a check once they see we have filed for penalties. I am so tired of this and I'm E mailing the Senator and all of the state reps once again. I will let you know what happens.
Norock they will do whatever they can to try and break you down. You have to stand up to them no matter what or they will try to beat you into the ground.

GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT!

RE: how does it work
Hi Norok, and welcome to the Boards!! The Folks above have given You Great Info., and don't Worry too much about being turned down for SSDI the First Time. Depending on your Age up to 95% of First Applicants are denied the First Time. My Opinion though, with the Injuries You have Posted, I don't think You'll have too Much Trouble the second Time around with SSDI! Again Welcome, and I Hope All Goes Well!!Wink

Sparkey, I can't remember if You have an Attorney, but when Your rating is Processed, they should Receive a copy, if not from the Dr., it should be Sent by the Defense Counsel, because Your Dr. Report should be Considered Evidence in Your Case, and they have to share ALL Info., just as Your Attorney does. If You don't have an Attorney, I would go to the Dr.'s Office, and Demand a Copy of Your Rating papers, I believe these are YOUR Records, even though they are being Paid for by the i/c. If You hadn't been Injured at Work, You wouldn't have needed these Tests, Your Name is on them, and You Deserve a Copy of them!! Best of Luck, and Please Keep Us Informed!!!Wink

Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled.

Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!!
