Shy Help?
Hello! I have never done anything like this.. but I though maybe someone could help me with my question. THANKS!

My husband hurt himself at work about 10 months ago, and is always in great pain. The doctor says that is some sort of nerve damage, but his MRI didn’t show anything. He did have something that showed nerve damage ( I am not sure what it what) but they didn’t know what to do about it, so they transfer him to pain management, and they are trying different stuff. The problem is that we found out today that the Independent medical evaluator for his workers comp sign off on the case. His current doctor is suppose to talk to them, and tell them that he shouldn’t be signed off. What is going to happen? What should we do? I live in Oregon.

RE: Help?
I don't think the main question can be answered without knowing what state you are in. The laws and regulations regarding wc are state specific.

What kind of mri did he have?????? The test that showed nerve damage would have been an emg/ncv.

I am sure someone will be along to give you an answere to the main question.

8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom.

If you don't have a lawyer, then you'd better get one now. Talk to several before you make up your mind who to go with. Consults shouldn't cost you a thing. Don't wait! Good luck!
