Wow!! I'm glad that I was lucky to have filed a claim in Illinois, and not Kentucky! I don't understand why benefits would seize for you, when in fact you are not MMI? I have been on comp for three years now..and thanks to an awesome attorney,I have not had one hitch in my benefits. They are now paying for my schooling to train in a new field..good luck to you!

Kentucky work comp does not seem right...?seems backwards!!
Illinois= payments until MMI..then if doctor refuses you to end that type of work you were injured in..they have to continue paying/offer voc/rehab or equiv..schooling...I've recovered nicely from my fusion..and actually replaced a thermostat on my car tonight..something I could not do last year at this time!! keep your hopes of dancing alive!I'll cross the stateline and drag you out of the chair to make you dance!!lol.....My soon to be ex-inlaws..moved down to Beaver Dam K.Y...they own about 70 acres..and it is awesome!how far is that from you??

RE: rehab
also in Illinois, they no longer give out ratings anymore. Each injury or loss has a specific amount on how much one can claim. They also go on a case by case basis, and age, length of time on job,and more personal attributes are also taken into consideration..
