Well, today is supposed to be pay day. I do have another few weeks left of sick pay. Guess what I didnt get today? My check! and of course nobody is to be found. Figures they do this the day of my hearing. I was supposed to get a letter saying my leave was extended and I never did. Do you think I was fired? I dont need this crap today, my belly is already upset, I barely slept last night and the weather is wet and I can barely move my shoulder today its so sore. Then I have therapy this afternoon. BLAH!

Sorry all this is happening to you and that you are not feeling well.  Boy, does weather reap havoc on us injured workers.......it kills me also.  I hope your weather straightens up in your area for your sake.  It just continues to amaze me how WC can just play with people's lives the way they do.  You mentioned something about a hearing.  When is this supposed to take place and what is the hearing for?  Maybe you posted it and I missed it, sorry.  Hope you start to feel better.  Maybe the check will be in the mail today......let's try to think positive.  Take Care!

MJC- Thank you for the well wishes. The hearing today is a "control date" not that I have any clue what that is. My attorney doesnt want me there, but he did tell me to wait by the phone between 9 and 930 . I have not been approved yet, so the pay I get is my sick time from work. I have direct deposit. They used to screw it up every week from like december-march. They finally stopped messing with my check. Until today. ooooooooo its thundering... sry, it scared the cocka out of me lol.... its LOUD!

Well, its after 9, so im gonna go play on pogo for a few to try and keep my mind off this.

Hopefully, they are simply running behind in the payroll dept & you'll get your check deposited today. Does your lawyer know you haven't received a check...possibly it could be mentioned at the Control date hearing. My thoughts/prayers are with you hoping to relieve the pain and eliminate the weather gloom.

Thanks all. Well its almost 1000 and I havent heard from the attorney. He doesnt want to hear about me not getting my checks, he said hes not an employment attorney. Its not a WC check, so he doesnt want to get involved.

Prncess, your Attorney is telling you the truth.

But, maybe your employer has held off waiting to see what the hearing results are. For if put on TTD and back payment, they don't have to pay you. That is like your dipping twice, and not allowed.

Hang in there, and wait for the Attorney first.

Princess...I sure hope you get good news today. You so deserve to hear good news. I remember clear back to my just reading all the posts before joining the forum...you had been through so much. But you were a fighter. I used to think about you and pray that you would have something good happen. You also always worried about that wonderful little girl of yours. Don't worry, everything will turn out ok. It sounds as if your attorney will be on them in no time if you don't get your check.
