RE: California Mileage Rate Increase
Kansas seems to be about a decade behind the east and west coast so in about 2017 it will increase here.Big Grin

RE: California Mileage Rate Increase
Thanks Chris...
BUT...it doesn't effect me anymore because since I settled I am "locked" into the rate at the time of settlement with no future increases.Sad

I will try to remember to ask my friend....but she is owner operator so it is more than a regular driver

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: California Mileage Rate Increase
are you sure babe?
that would be one of the most unusual provisions of any settlement I've ever heard of.
what does the award say specifically? can you quote that section?

RE: California Mileage Rate Increase
That's what I was thinking 1171. Freezing the mileage rate in a settlement seems so petty, and as you say, unusual.

Babe, hope you are wrong on this one. Tongue

RE: California Mileage Rate Increase
Nope...I'm not wrong. The last increase, I turned in my mileage and got a letter from W/C stating that I cannot have the new rate for mileage because my settlement did not stipulate I allowed "any" increases! I doubled check! Sad
