Can I change jobs and still receive WC services?
Hello, please excuse my lack of knowledge, as I am still very uneducated about my rights with my workman's comp case. I am rehabbing from a rotator cuff surgery in late Oct that actually occurred in Feb, but a misdiagnosis made the process draw out longer. I am looking at working for another company and am wondering if my case is still active and I have not been released from medical treatment, can I change employers and still maintain my treatment until my case is closed? Due to the holiday season, I am finding it tough to locate an attorney in my area and I have a chance at changing jobs in the very near future for a much healthier oppoturnity. Any advise is much appreciated. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I believe that the medical portion of wc will stay with you. You should be able to receive medical treatment even at a different job. I wish you the best!

workers comp is not health insurance; it remains whatever your employment status is.
