RE: Think I am losing it!!!!
good morning.....i am with the rest. i did the same thing. after being injured more than once whenever i would return to work i always hid if i got hurt and the nursed it myself quietly for fear of another comp claim. this is what it did to me. all the nursing of my own body i did finally last year tore 5 body parts to shreds. i am the one suffering now. this last injury i left work in tears and screaming. i was soooooooo very upset to be put back into the system that i nearly lost my mind. couldn't hide itthis time, too much damage. it took 3 months for me to have a nervouse breakdown from the stress, anger at the way i was being treated and at myself for allowing this to go on as long as i did, please, please take care of the cut and your mind. you are not alone. most of us have suffered greatly mentally/emotioally at some point due to all the stress of being an IW. with the right help you will come out of all of this a stronger person. God be with you.

jayne.......I just loved your post and how fitting it is.

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

Risingeagle222, I say if you feel pressure or stress Job or Whatever, and your noticing issues. Will it hurt you that much to talk this over with your Doctor? That's all I can say and ask of you. The rest, is up to you.

RE: Think I am losing it!!!!
Rising, I've dealt with severe Depression most of my adult life. I will be blunt in hopes it helps you. With what you have written here you could be the poster person for Depression. You have absolutely every sign including denial. You told Bad Boy that you think you are O.K., but from reading your own words and the tone in with they are written, fear, paranoia, a feeling of loss and worthlessness, and the list goes on, you need to get help A.S.A.P.!
You may want to fight this battle yourself without Pain Meds., and come out on top, but in the end you are going to only spiral further down until your depression gets a total hold on you and you are not even going to want to leave your home!! You are going to think everyone in the world is out to get you and you will trust no one!! Please seek help now before these things occur, I could have wrote your post word for word a few years ago, then I received help, swallowed my pride, and I'm a lot better off today for it. Just my opinion, but you must get some help!!!Wink
