Cool knee injury
about two years ago i was injured on the job. i fell half way through a hole in a landing platform hyper extending and twisting my left knee they sent me to the clinic they used and the doctor had me take a week off and then put me on light duty for the next four weeks eventually releaseing me back to full duty.but i still have savere pain and i can't run or put pressure on my left leg(i.e.:bowling,climbing a ladder, jogging ) or walking for long periods.

my question is if i go see a doctor now will it still be covered by the original worker's comp case. the injury happened inflorida and i now live inillinois?

RE: knee injury
Welcome to the forum.

I also have a knee injury, happened two years ago.

All of the items you described, bowling, climbing a ladder,j ogging are in my pernament restrictions.

Was your medical left open? Do you have an attorney?

Also we need to know what state you are from so your question can be answered.

RE: knee injury
It depends on how your original claim was closed and if the doctors are relating your current problems to the fall thru the hole or activities since then.
what do the doctors say?

RE: knee injury
You have several issues working against you. First of all, you are no longer in the state where you were injured. Second of all, it is not at all clear whether or not you perfected your rights when you got injured 2 years ago. Under those circumstances the ins company will have no interest in helping you at all.

If your knee is bugging you and you need tx, get a good WC lawyer in the State you were hurt. Your case is not something you should handle on your own. Too many issues. Trust me. Call a lawyer.
