Can I ask for a settlement?
Can I ask for a settlement, if I can how do I go about it?

As I come to an end of my tenure on WC, 18 months, screws, plates and knee replacement, can I just ask WC to cash me out, cant do the work I have done for 30 years, I just want to move on, put this WC “crap” behind me, and maybe get a job as a greeter at Wal-mart.

RE: Can I ask for a settlement?
Pote, I'm in Pa., so I'm not really sure how Ohio is, but You can Request a Settlement at any Time, if You have an Attorney You can start the Process through them, if not, You can Call Your Adjuster and Ask. I do know Here that neither Side ever has to Settle, I Actually Sent Two Settlement Letters to the i/c Attorney through Mine before We ever Entered Court, and they were Both Turned Down, but it doesn't Hurt to Ask, if You really Want Out! Just try and Protect Your Future Medical, that's a Very Important and Costly thing!! Best of Luck, and I Hope All Goes Well!!Wink

Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled.

Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!!
