New York State Workers Comp denies another 9/11 hero
Not that it might make much of a difference But when is the federal government going to step in and take over the corrupt individual states workers compensation systems. New York state denies another 9/11 hero that lost his life after working at Ground zero. This makes me so angry and it has to STOP. When they tell 9/11 heroes that they don't deserve benefits how would any other injured worker in the State of New York even think they will be treated with respect and decency. I just watched the funeral on TV and felt so bad for the family of this falling hero. Read this article I am ashamed of my own state and personally apologize to the rest of this great Country for it.

What a disgrace....this government doesn't help anyone who truly needs it, they better wake up and smell the coffee, there just might not be anyone to help out as first responders and police/fire/ems and the good samaritans to help out if there is ever another disaster again....I would recommend my bosses first...and then insurance company wc to get their buts over there and start pitching in and do it... mandatory assignments....lets see how fast they would step up to the plate.....bunch of worthless idiots...I'm sorry I'm ranting...they really tick me off to no end....it seems it will never change..no matter what....government Officials and Insurance companies take care of themselves, politians say what you want to hear, and then once in office do what benefits themselves and buddies.....and here we sit....

no where to hide

Our country is in such a sad state. I don't think it will be long before illegal aliens can get anything they want but those who have given their lives through their line of work or those who are injured and suffer in pain daily can't get crap.

Here is a link to another story that was on the same page Tony. I hope this gets pushed through and passes! Maybe then these families can get what they so deserve.

This is a travesty Tony. In fact it's "sick'. No wonder you are in the situation you are in!
Prayers for all New Yorkers & especially you! LillySmile

Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!!

A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless!
