RE: neuro
Tweety,
This is what I am thinking of doing, just so I can get some answers.
Right now I am seeing two ortho surgeons but not feeling real confident in either.
Before I go thru surgery on my neck I would just like a second opinion.
Good luck

RE: neuro
Tweety, I hope he can help you this time. Write down all your questions and concerns, and bring someone with you if you can. Also bring your medical history, outlined briefly so he can look at it and ask questions. If you have MRI and X-ray films, plus your EMG results, take them along as well. My EMG results have always been negative. There are about 5% of the population that will have all the clinical symptoms, but test out negative on an EMG.

If it doesn't work out, consider going to a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO). They are physicians, just the same as an MD, except they are trained to LISTEN to the patient, and consider the body as a "WHOLE." In other words, if your neck hurts, they look deep to find the root cause and not just at your neck.

My new PTP is a WC DO. He's new to me, but so far I trust him. Tongue
